House of Experian: Custom Tradeshow Booth Build in Seattle

Quick Facts

Client: Experian, in partnership with Code Blk Agency

Event: Out & Equal Workplace Summit, October 2025

Venue: Seattle Convention Center, Summit Building

Services: Custom Fabrication + Production Execution

The Challenge

Experian’s “House of Experian” booth concept — a bold, color-forward activation built around financial-wellness messaging — had already been fully designed for the 2024 Out & Equal Conference in Orlando, pitch deck and all. But when that event was canceled due to a hurricane, the build never happened.

In 2025, Code Blk Agency revived the concept for Seattle and brought in Event Experience to take it from finished design to a real, functional booth — on a show floor, on a deadline, and within an updated budget.

Our Approach

Event Experience served as the production partner responsible for translating an already-finalized creative concept into a fully realized build. That meant:

  • Refining and adjusting design elements to meet an updated budget and the show’s specific requirements
  • Engineering and rebuilding key structures, including redesigning several walls to create hidden storage and closet space
  • Fabricating and assembling custom components to support the full layout. See our Event Design page for more on how we approach custom builds like this one.
  • Testing and integrating shipped props, including LED signage and specialty elements
  • Receiving and installing all assets shipped directly to the Seattle Convention Center, then managing on-site installation, styling, and final layout execution
  • Overseeing strike and teardown at the conclusion of the event

Code Blk maintained direct communication with Out & Equal and the convention center throughout, while our team worked closely with both Code Blk and Experian to make sure the final activation matched the intended creative vision and held up on the show floor.

A Moment Worth Keeping

One of the booth’s exterior walls included an interactive component inviting attendees to write messages in response to a prompt. It became one of the most popular parts of the activation — popular enough that Experian asked to keep it. Our team disassembled the wall, packed it into a custom-built crate, and provided detailed reinstallation instructions so it could be reassembled and displayed at their California headquarters, extending the life of the piece well beyond the Summit itself.

The Result

Working in partnership with Code Blk and Experian, Event Experience turned a previously shelved creative concept into a vibrant, functional, high-impact activation on the Out & Equal show floor. The finished build honored the original design while solving for the real-world constraints of budget, structure, and show deadlines — delivering an immersive booth experience that stood out.
